With over 20 years of financial markets experience, Tanner has focused the last decade on software and technology deal sourcing and research across Ionic Partners, Build Acquisition Corp., BuildGroup, and Vista Equity Partners. Tanner has built deep relationships with hundreds of CEOs, as well as with over a hundred institutions across North America (e.g. venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banks). Currently, Tanner is an Advisor & Founding Member of the Texas Venture Alliance, whose objectives are to amplify already existing investor activity across the state, advocate for future initiatives benefiting startups and investors at the Texas State Capitol, and to connect the startup, venture, and government communities.

Emily is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Waypost Advisors, LLC. Having learned many great things in her career in supply chain, Emily left corporate life in 2020 to bring her passion and expertise to small and mid-size manufacturers. With 17 years of experience in transportation & logistics, procurement, supply chain planning, and a MicroMasters of Supply Chain from MIT, she’s delighted to have opportunities to help clients solve their supply chain problems. She’s been known to geek-out all day on supply chain process improvements or cost-savings projects. Emily also enjoys building Lego palaces with her daughter and being active outside, even in the winter.
